Biostatech, S. L., a biostatistics and applied statistics company, is looking for a professional with experience in statistical consulting activities to join the consulting, training and R&D&I team.
Demanded profile:
PhD, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics or bioinformatics.
Preferably (not exclusive) with a background in mathematics, statistics, physics, biology or computer science.
Job Description:
- Providing statistical advice on research work and/or studies for companies.
- Integration into the company’s innovation plan development team.
General merits of evaluation:
- Previous experience in statistical consulting activities, especially in biomedical research.
- Experience in the preparation of technical-scientific reports.
- Advanced use of R (essential).
- Knowledge of various techniques and methodologies: design and analysis of experiments,
general regression models (e.g. survival analysis, mixed models,
flexible models), supervised and unsupervised classification methods, among others. - Ability to work in a team, and pleasant manner.
- Good level of English.
Contract conditions:
- Full-time permanent contract.
- Type 1 contract (Higher education graduate).
- Gross salary: approx. 2,000 euros/month.
- Start in February-March 2022.
