Biostatech has participated in the guidance paper workshops organised by the European project PATHWAY-27 on 21 and 22 September in Brussels (Belgium).
The general objective of PATHWAY-27 is to exploit bioactive compounds as food ingredients that, within the common diet, could significantly benefit human health and well-being. To obtain conclusions that are widely applicable, PATHWAY-27 uses three model compounds (docosahexaenoic acid – DHA, beta-glucans – BG, and anthocyanins – AC) and three model food matrices (baking, dairy and egg-based products).
