Biostatech has been selected among the 10 biotechnology, agri-food and biomass companies that will participate in the acceleration program for innovative Galician SMEs: Agrobiotech
Agrobiotech (http://agrobiotech.gal/) identifies companies with high innovative potential, and in this edition it has selected 4 biotechnology companies: Allgenetics & Biology, S.L. (http://www.allgenetics.eu/), Qubiotech Health Intelligence (http://qubiotech.com/), Indrops Laboratorio de Análisis y Calidad Medioambiental, S.L. (http://www.indrops.es/) and Biostatech. Likewise, 5 companies from the agri-food sector have been chosen: Global and Ecofriendly Natural Extracts, S.L. (http://www.glecex.com/), Fiablone, S.L. (http://calabizo.com/), Queixería Prestes, S.L. (https://www.quesosprestes.com/), Xenotechs Laboratorios, S.L. (http://www.xenotechs.com/) and Veigas de Sabugueiro, S.L; and 1 biomass: Biomasa Forestal, S.L. (http://www.bioforestal.es/).
Agrobiotech is an initiative promoted by the Xunta de Galicia, the Galician Innovation Agency (Gain) (http://gain.xunta.gal/) and the Galician Technology Park: Tecnopole (https://www.tecnopole.es/), which seeks to promote the sustainable growth of innovative SMEs in the consolidation phase.
An important recognition for our company, and which highlights the role of biostatistics in key sectors such as biotechnology and the agri-food sector. In this regard, statistics used appropriately allow for improved research results and the solution of problems raised by the company. Statistics is undoubtedly the key tool for good decision making and for achieving accurate knowledge in today’s world.
