Biostatech &#038; TorusWare selected for Phase II"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Biostatech and <a href=\"https:\/\/torusware.com\/es\/\">TorusWare<\/a> alliance has been selected among the 7 projects chosen to solve the Galicia Open Future challenge posed by the company: Coren. This initiative is promoted and supported in addition to Telef\u00f3nica and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coren.es\/\">Coren<\/a> by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xunta.gal\/portada\">Xunta de Galicia<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gain.xunta.gal\/\">Innovation Agency (GAIN)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.igape.es\/es\/\">IGAPE<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/amtega.xunta.gal\/\">Agency for the Technological Modernization of Galicia (AMTEGA)<\/a> \u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xesgalicia.gal\/\">XesGalicia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The challenge involves finding solutions to various sub-challenges related to improving the identification and weighing of pigs, and developing predictive models for the evolution of the weight of individuals.<\/p>\n<p>The other selected projects are those proposed by <a href=\"http:\/\/agrogi.com\/\">Agropecuaria Girona<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gradiant.org\/\">the Gradiant technology centre<\/a> of Vigo, the company <a href=\"http:\/\/merasys.es\/\">Merasys<\/a> of Vigo, the entrepreneurial project Smart Pig of Santiago de Compostela, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.udl.es\/ca\/\">University of Lleida<\/a> and the startup <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ymaging.com\/\">Ymaging<\/a> of Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>The final presentations will take place on January 15, 2019, from which one winning project and three finalists will be selected.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\nThe Biostatech and TorusWare alliance has been selected among the 7 projects chosen to solve the Galicia Open Future challenge posed by the company: Coren.
