From January 19 to 21, more than 100 national and international researchers were able to enjoy the scientific activities organized around the III Scientific Meeting of the Biostatistics Network: Biostatnet in Santiago de Compostela<\/p>\n
This meeting was attended by prestigious researchers from all over Spain, and from countries such as Portugal, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among others.<\/p>\n
The Biostatnet Network, coordinated by our scientific director: Carmen Cadarso Su\u00e1rez, brings together more than 200 researchers in mathematics, statistics, biology, computer science, physics, medicine, pharmacology, engineering, among many others, which gives it an interdisciplinary character, which allows it to address statistical and computational solutions to challenges posed by biomedicine. But also from other areas, whose professionals see in biostatistics, an ideal means to find solutions to their scientific problems, and which cannot be adequately resolved with more classical methodologies.<\/p>\n
