During the medical event, she delivered an oral presentation on the nutritional intervention trial titled <em>\u201cEffect of Unicla dairy consumption on serum markers and the fatty acid profile of the erythrocyte membrane\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The study was developed in collaboration with <strong>Ismael Mart\u00ednez Lede<\/strong>, Head of Innovation at <strong>CLUN Cooperativa Rural Galega<\/strong>. The research explores how the nutritional quality and composition of dairy fat in Unicla and Unicla A2 products positively impact the metabolic profile after a period of continued consumption.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As Ismael Mart\u00ednez Lede highlighted in a recent interview with <em>La Voz de Galicia<\/em>: <em>\u201cIt is the cooperative\u2019s members who build the quality that defines \u00danicla A2\u201d<\/em>, emphasizing the importance of livestock management and raw material origin in the final health benefits of the product.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Key Clinical Trial Findings<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Among the most relevant conclusions drawn from the scientific and biostatistical analysis, the following stand out:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li><strong>Increase in cardioprotective fatty acids:<\/strong> An increase of up to 31% in conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) levels and its precursor isomer was observed in the erythrocyte membrane.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nutrient profile optimization:<\/strong> Markedly favorable trends in Omega-3 (ALA) and selenium levels.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maintenance of metabolic stability:<\/strong> Stable glucose and total cholesterol indicators after months of daily intake.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A paradigm shift in nutritional advice:<\/strong> The findings reinforce the need to evaluate the composition and quality of dietary fat\u2014rather than just quantity\u2014in clinical practice and health recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Agri-food Innovation Backed by Scientific Evidence<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This project highlights how applied research originating from cooperative production translates into solid scientific evidence.
