On December 15, 2016, the 1st Research Entrepreneurship Conference was held in A Coruña, with the participation of our Manager: Vicente Lustres.
The conference was organized by the Galicia Working Group of CRE (Association of Scientists Returned to Spain) http://galicia.cre.org.es/ http://cre.org.es/, and with the collaboration of the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), the Agency for the Management of Knowledge in Health (ACIS), the Center for Advanced Research (CICA-UDC) and the Technological Business Cluster of Life Sciences (Bioga).
This event brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, and representatives of various institutions and companies, and was divided into two parts:
1- Measures to support research entrepreneurship, with the participation of representatives of GAIN, ACIS, Directors of the OTRIS of Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña and Vigo, the Novoa Santos, Ramón Domínguez and Galicia Sur Foundations.
2- Research entrepreneurship in first person. Challenges and practical experiences. With the participation of Qubiotech: http://qubiotech.com/, Nanoimmunotech, Health in Code: http://www.healthincode.com/, and Biostatech. In addition, Yolanda Falcón, Director of Unirisco/Uninvest.
