Required profile: Doctor, graduate or graduate with a Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics. Preferably (not exclusive) with a background in mathematics, biology or computer science.
Job description:
- Providing statistical advice on research work or studies for companies.
- Specifically, teaching training courses on statistical tools (R: https://www.r-project.org/) and statistical techniques at different levels.
- If you have a PhD, you will be asked to apply for a Torres Quevedo and promote one of the lines of research developed by Biostatech (to be discussed with the candidate).
Merits to be valued:
- Previous experience in statistical advisory activities, especially in the biomedical sector, and preparation of technical-scientific reports. Teaching skills. Advanced handling of R. Knowledge of various techniques and methodologies: experimental design, advanced regression models, survival analysis, mixed models, ROC curves, etc. Ability to work in a team and be pleasant. Good level of English.
Contract conditions:
- Permanent full-time contract. University degree.
