Biostatech participates in the 12th R Users Conference in Galicia
On January 16, 2025, our two colleagues, Julia García Currás and Iria Iglesias Gende, were speakers at the 12th R Users Conference in Galicia, held at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Santiago de Compostela.
Julia García Currás , in line with her Industrial Doctorate, spoke about the different steps in the analysis of quantitative omics data with R, a standard workflow for obtaining biological conclusions from molecular data.
Iria Iglesias Gende presented her study linked to her Master’s Thesis on the introduction of electronic consultations in the Cardiology Service of the Santiago de Compostela and Barbanza Health Area. This study shows a positive association between the presence of e-consultation and longer patient survival times.
