The 12th Galician Congress on Statistics and Operational Research was held at the Pazo de San Marcos (Lugo) from 22 to 24 October 2015. Vicente Lustres Pérez participated in the round table on statistical consulting services.
This round table was moderated by the USC statistics professor: Carmen Cadarso Suárez, and also participated Sonia Pértega Díaz (INIBIC-CHUAC), Mª José Ginzo Villamayor (USC) and Francisco Gude Sampedro (CHUS). The event was of great interest to the audience, as it addressed issues related to consulting and the training of new statisticians, from different perspectives of a university service, two biostatistics support units in the hospital field, and from a company (spin-off: Biostatech).
