The main objective of Biostatech is to boost research and develop advanced statistical methodologies, in order to solve real problems and needs of the business world and present research.

In a technology word evolving continuously, Statistics has become the key science in the resolution of new scientific-technic challenges, with data mining, processing and analysis.

I+D+i has achieved a huge importance with the current era of the Big Data, data mining and analysis for business and researcher has become necessary in different areas.

  • Double Award in the XI Innovative Business Ideas of the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (March 2011): Firs Award in “Woman Emprende” and Second Award in “Empresa de Base Tecnológica”.
  • Biostatech is the first national biostatistical spin-off qualified as technology based business by the Consellería de Traballo e Benestar de la Xunta de Galicia.
  • Research contract Torres Quevedo in the el Programa Nacional de Contratación de Recursos Humanos del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (November 2013).
