Biostatech, S. L., a biostatistics and applied statistics company www.biostatech.com is looking for a professional with experience in statistical consulting activities to perform a maternity replacement for 4 months (starting at the end of March/beginning of April 2023), with the option of continuing after this period with an open-ended contract.
Demanded profile:
PhD, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics. Preferably (not exclusive) with a background in mathematics, statistics, physics, biology or computer science.
Job Description:
- Providing statistical advice on research work and/or studies for companies.
General merits of evaluation:
- Previous experience in statistical advisory activities (preferably in the field of biostatistics: epidemiology, public health, medicine, etc.).
- Experience in the preparation of technical-scientific reports.
- Advanced handling of R and R Markdown (essential).
- Knowledge of various techniques and methodologies: experimental design, advanced regression models, survival analysis, mixed models, ROC curves, etc…
- Ability to work as part of a team and pleasant manner.
- Good level of English.
Contract conditions:
- Full-time contract for a minimum of 4 months.
- Type 1 contract (Higher Degree).
- Gross salary: approx. 2,030 euros/month.
- Start date: late March/early April 2023.
