Biostatech has received the Responsabilízate Company Seal from Elena Rivo, Regional Minister for Employment Promotion and Equality of the Xunta de Galicia, after having completed all the phases of the Responsabilízate program.
Responsabilízate is a completely free advisory programme promoted by the Regional Ministry for the Promotion of Employment and Equality, aimed at supporting SMEs and micro-enterprises in the Galician business sector in their transformation towards environmentally, socially and economically sustainable business models. Beneficiary entities receive comprehensive support, training and free consulting services from a group of experts to develop ESG initiatives adapted to their needs, resources and priorities.
Companies that receive this official recognition are distinguished as creators of shared value and are among the first to advance towards a new concept of sustainable, responsible SMEs and micro-enterprises, committed to environmental, social and good governance (ESG) values and ahead of regulatory trends.
On December 1st, the official presentation of the Responsabilízate Company Seal to 200 organizations took place at Pazo Vista Alegre, including Biostatech, who completed all the phases of the third edition of the Responsabilízate program of the Xunta de Galicia. Manuel Taboada, management manager, and Julia García Currás, consultant from the Department of Advice, Training and R&D&I, were present at the official presentation of the Seal.
Biostatech has obtained this seal after having successfully completed this process, highlighting its ongoing commitment to sustainable development and responsible practices in the environmental, social and good governance (ESG) areas. During these months, progress has continued in ESG values and the commitment to integrate sustainable practices in all aspects of the business has been reinforced, contributing positively to the community and establishing a benchmark for responsible business conduct in Galicia.
